The Role of Care Assistant with Us

The role also includes establishing individual implementation plans and social documentation. We work purposefully with national registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert. Cleaning of living quarters and washing of staff clothes has been removed from the care assistant's duties in Kungsbacka municipality and assigned to other staff. This means that as a care assistant with us, you will have more time for your core duties.

Your placement will be at Björkris Care and Nursing Home. We have 120 places, half of which are for dementia and half for somatic care. We want to offer security to those we serve, where we see collaboration as a key factor for our organization. We hope you want to help shape our new operations together with us.

Your schedule will be arranged for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You should enjoy working independently at a flexible pace, be able to take significant personal responsibility, and be willing to seek solutions both individually and collaboratively where the situation requires it. We highly value good cooperation and see it as a given that you want to contribute your insights and expertise to keep the organization healthy and flexible enough to meet the ever-changing needs of the outside world. You are welcome to bring new ideas that contribute to the development of the organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained care assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience working as a care assistant
• experience in psychiatric work
• specialist competence and/or experience working with dementia and high BPSD
• a B driver's license

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Administration for Care & Nursing, all employees in home care and care and nursing homes are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to the desired employment rate based on the needs of the organization.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title.
