Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have consultations for assessments and treatments related to hand injuries and diseases, as well as assistive device evaluations. We also see that working with daily revisions, stress, and sleep is a significant part of your role with us.

If you have experience in outpatient work at a health center, it is a great advantage, but it is primarily your personality and drive that may be decisive in the recruitment process. We need someone who is passionate about primary care! A person who feels comfortable with remote visits via phone and video and who finds it stimulating to work in a setting with quick, short visits.

About the Workplace

Who are we? We have about 14,000 registered patients and a team that many enjoy being part of. There is a good team spirit, and laughter is never far away. We are the largest health center in Halland, which means we are a large workforce with a lot of competence and experience to share. As an occupational therapist at Vårdcentralen Halland in Kungsbacka, you will be part of a network with colleagues at other health centers, where we support each other and have the opportunity to discuss cases.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Training in hand rehabilitation and REDO is highly meritorious. In Kungsbacka municipality, there are many sports clubs and an active population, which means that knowledge in sports medicine can be an advantage.

You have the patient in focus and are comfortable working both independently and in a team. You are meticulous in your work and have the ability to be flexible. It is also important that you contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup and have a good professional demeanor towards your colleagues and patients. We also see that you have a positive attitude towards development work while being secure and independent in your professional role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
