About the job

As a nurse at the orthopedic clinic, you will be part of a team of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors. Your tasks will include telephone advice, assisting doctors in their consultations, as well as plaster and wound care.

In addition to regular outpatient activities with new and follow-up visits, we also perform treatments, plastering, and outpatient surgeries. Infants with hip dislocation are also treated at the orthopedic clinic.

About the workplace

Working hours are daytime Monday - Friday.

The orthopedics department in Varberg consists of a care ward and a clinic. At the clinic, doctors, operating room nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, plaster technicians, and administrative staff work together.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse with previous experience in nursing. If you have prior experience working in orthopedics, this is an advantage, as is previous experience in outpatient work. There will be opportunities to specialize in certain tasks at the clinic over time.

We see collaboration skills, engagement, and flexibility as essential qualities in you. You have a professional and humble approach and attitude towards colleagues, patients, and their relatives. You also contribute to creating a good work environment. We also see that you have an interest in development and improvement work.

Based on your previous knowledge and experience, we will provide you with an individually tailored introduction. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
