Property Technician for Malmen in Linköping

Your Everyday Life - Strengthening Sweden's Total Defense

The Fortifications Agency has a management organization divided into six regions. We manage properties in eight counties in central Sweden. The largest garrison towns in the region are Enköping, which is also the regional office, Uppsala, and Linköping, and we also have operations in Arboga, Hälleforsnäs, Norrköping, Älvdalen, Falun, Villingsberg, and Kvarn. We are now looking for a property technician for Region Mitt, located in Linköping.

We are five operations technicians and one operations manager working at Malmen within the Linköping operations district, which includes both Malmen and FMV. We are responsible for the operation, supervision, maintenance, and upkeep of the properties within the existing property portfolio. We also participate in smaller construction and technology projects.

Now we are looking for someone who wants to be part of our team and work directed towards the Armed Forces, primarily with additional services.

The following tasks are included:

• Independent work with additional services from the Armed Forces where you will have primary responsibility, which means receiving orders, handling, and registering various orders in the systems.
• Carpentry work such as assembling cabinets, shelves, whiteboards, and boards, etc.
• Inspection and assembly of pallet racks.
• Various purchases, such as appliances.
• Other tasks within the operations group may occur.

The position includes daily customer and supplier contacts, both independent and collaborative assignments, as well as administrative work in several IT support systems. On-call duty may be relevant.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed high school, preferably with a focus on construction technology, or another education that the employer deems suitable. You have experience with tasks in carpentry and internal property maintenance.

You also have good administrative skills and are a regular user of IT support systems, particularly strong skills in Excel will be important. You have very good Swedish language skills, are a Swedish citizen, and have a driver's license, class B.

A carpentry education is advantageous.
