Brasserie Astrid is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager for our bar. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the bar, staff management, beverage development, and ensuring a first-class guest experience in line with our profile. You will work closely with the kitchen and service management to create a seamless flow between food, drink, and ambiance.
Responsibilities – Bar ManagerOversee the daily operations of the bar, inventory, orders, and cost control.
Lead, coach, and schedule the bar team; conduct orientation and training for new hires.
Develop and update the drink menu, cocktail concepts, and beverage pairings in collaboration with the head chef.
Ensure high service standards and professional bar techniques during all shifts.
Actively work on sales, upselling, and guest relations to increase revenue and guest loyalty.
Follow alcohol and safety regulations, as well as responsible serving procedures.
Manage inventory control, cost tracking, and collaborate on orders to optimize margins.
Participate in staffing during peak times and serve as support and a role model in service moments.
Several years of experience working in a bar/professional beverage environment, preferably with previous leadership experience (2+ years as a manager/supervisor is a plus).
Good knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, as well as experience in drink development and recipe documentation.
Experience in inventory management, ordering procedures, and cost control within bar operations.
Knowledge of regulations regarding alcohol service and experience working responsibly with this.
Strong communication skills and experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in Swedish; English is a plus.
Flexibility in working hours with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
