We are now looking for you who want to work as a cook in school kitchens. This is an important and independent role where you get to make a difference for both children and adults in schools every day.

As a cook, you are responsible for planning menus, ordering ingredients, and preparing nutritious meals according to current recommendations. You lead the work in the kitchen and ensure that hygiene routines and self-control measures are followed. This is a role for you who wants to contribute to children and young people having good and healthy meals during the school day.

Pamoja is the largest provider of substitutes for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and offer a wide variety of exciting assignments.

How the job works

You often work on short notice (same morning). You can work a lot or a little, often or rarely. Which specific tasks you will work with will be agreed upon when you are employed. You are then always personally matched to your assignments (based on your preferences and skills).

You manage the job easily through our smart app. Additionally, you always have a personal contact with our support team who assists you when needed - before, during, and after the job. You work securely with a collective agreement. Naturally, you receive a thorough introduction to the job before you start.

What do you need to know?

• You need to have a high school diploma from the Restaurant and Food Programme or a completed vocational training as a cook.
• You need to have at least 12 months of experience working as a cook in a large kitchen. You also need to be ready to take responsibility and initiative and have a willingness to collaborate with others.
• You have great freedom to change your schedule - but you need to be ready to work as you commit.
• You need to be able to work at least 2 days a week (Are you a student? Then you need to be able to work at least 1 day/week).
• You should want to be a good role model for everyone you meet at work!
