About the unit
The Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining command and support systems at all readiness levels, both nationally and internationally. The unit you will join is led from Örebro, but the work is based in Stockholm.
Main responsibilities
As a cook, you will be part of a team responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals. This will take place in a modern, well-equipped large-scale kitchen. The role requires your ability to collaborate in a group under occasionally stressful conditions, as well as good independence and initiative.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Swedish citizenship.
- Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma).
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Cooking education or equivalent training.
- Category B driver's license.
- No fur allergy, or a mild allergy manageable with medication.
Meritorious
- Completed basic military training.
- Previous experience working in a large-scale kitchen.
Personal qualities
Liking to cook is a prerequisite for thriving in this role. Creativity and a service-oriented attitude are winning traits. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, both regarding competence and previous experience, as well as how we assess that your personality will fit into the intended work group.

Employment type: Permanent.
The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
Employment level: Full-time.
The position is civilian.
Work location: Stockholm. Business travel occurs, as well as work at irregular hours.
Start date and salary according to agreement.
