We are now looking for you who want to work as a kitchen assistant in a school kitchen. An important and varied job where you contribute to ensuring everything runs smoothly in the kitchen – every day.

As a kitchen assistant, you help the cook with preparations and simple meal preparation, such as salads, sandwiches, and keeping food warm. You receive deliveries, keep the kitchen tidy, and ensure that hygiene routines are followed.

You work independently but always in close collaboration with the cook and colleagues. A job for you who likes pace, service, and creating a pleasant dining environment for both children and staff.

Pamoja is the largest provider of substitutes for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and have many different, exciting assignments.

How the job works

You often work on short notice (same morning). You can work a lot or a little, often or rarely. Which tasks you will work with will be agreed upon when you are employed. You are then always personally matched to your assignments (based on your preferences and competence).

You manage the job easily in our smart app. In addition, you always have personal contact with our support that assists you when you need it – before, during, and after the job. You work securely with a collective agreement. Naturally, you receive a proper introduction to the job before you start.

What do you need to be able to do?

• You need to have completed upper secondary education, and training in food hygiene.
• You need to have at least 6 months of experience working in a school restaurant or large kitchen, with cooking and serving. You also need to be ready to take responsibility and initiative and be willing to collaborate with others.
• You have great freedom to change your schedule – but you need to be ready to work as you promise.
• You need to be able to work at least 2 days a week (Are you a student? Then you need to be able to work at least 1 day/week).
• You should want to be a good role model for everyone you meet at work!
