Do you want to work practically to take technical ideas from the drawing board to functioning prototypes in reality?
We are now looking for a Workshop Technician with a focus on prototype development for an international high-tech company in Täby.

In this role, you will be a key person in the development of mechanical solutions – from the first concept to a tested and functioning prototype.

About the role

You will work hands-on in a workshop environment to build, modify, and test mechanical prototypes, such as lifting devices and special equipment. The work is done in close collaboration with design and production and encompasses the entire development chain.

You will:

• Manufacture and assemble mechanical prototypes and subsystems
• Work from CAD documentation, drawings, and technical specifications
• Modify and further develop existing solutions
• Test, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical designs
• Document changes and test results
• Provide practical feedback to designers for increased functionality, durability, and manufacturability

Your profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical technical work and problem-solving.

You have:

• Experience in mechanical prototyping, product development, or similar
• Good understanding of mechanical designs
• Familiarity with workshop work using hand tools and machines
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• A structured and meticulous working style

As a person, you are practical and enjoy working hands-on where you can solve problems and find effective solutions. You are self-driven in your work but also appreciate close collaboration with colleagues and other functions. You have a natural focus on quality and safety in what you do, and you are driven by curiosity and a genuine interest in technology development.

This is a consulting assignment starting immediately and ongoing. You will be employed by us at A-Talent Tech and work at our client in Täby, Stockholm. The employment form is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period.
