ABOUT THE POSITION
Neko Health is a Swedish med-tech company founded by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Their vision is to improve healthcare with innovative technological solutions. At Neko Health, you will be part of a team whose main task is to assemble various types of electrical, optical, fine mechanical, and mechanical components for medical technology applications. The products are among the newest on the market, so you will work with prototypes, pre-series, and production units as well as upgrades of units. This also means that you will work closely with many of the engineers to identify challenges and improvement suggestions, where your insights will be valuable. All units produced are used internally by the company, allowing you to follow the production quality of the units in a way that many businesses do not experience.

The employment will start as a consulting assignment through Academic Work for 6 months with the possibility of direct employment at Neko Health.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
- Assembly of mechanical, fine mechanical, medical technology, and optical components.
- Cable routing in control cabinets, electrical connections in control cabinets.
- Conduct various production tests to ensure the right quality.
- Assembly of prototypes, pre-series, upgrades for internal use.
- Kit preparation and material handling.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have experience in fine mechanics, optics, electronics, or assembly, preferably within med-tech.
- Understand ESD
- Understand traceability
- Have a general technical interest
- Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- Soldering certification
- Experience working in a fast-changing environment
To succeed in this role, you have the following personal qualities:

You need to be able to take significant personal responsibility and independently drive your work forward, while also having good collaboration skills as tasks vary between individual work and teamwork. Additionally, it is crucial that you can carefully receive and follow instructions with high precision.
The selection process will take place in January 2026.
