Our mission is to ensure that our customers have access to clean water and environmentally sound sewage and waste management.

Our mission is also to create conditions for our customers to make more sustainable choices. We manage our operations with the customer in focus and with a heart for the environment and sustainable development for our communities. Our goal is to make it easy for our customers to do the right thing in all water, waste, and sewage matters. Do you want a varied and socially important job where you make a difference every day? Do you want to work with modern technology while contributing to one of the most fundamental things we have – clean water and a functioning society?

With us, you will have a varied and practical job where you combine technology, problem-solving, and community benefit.

As an operations technician, you will work with the operation and maintenance of our water and sewage facilities, such as water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations.

The work is varied and includes, among other things:

  • Operation and supervision of treatment and water plants
  • Troubleshooting and repair of pumps and technical equipment
  • Sampling and monitoring of water quality and processes
  • Preventive maintenance and operational checks
  • Participation in improvement work and development of facilities
  • Emergency maintenance during operational disruptions, where you need to find solutions quickly.
  • Work according to clear routines within safety and working environment

On-call duty is included according to a schedule (every sixth week), and you always have colleagues and support in the organization.

We are looking for:

Someone with a technical interest who enjoys working practically, both independently and together with others.

We would like you to have:

  • High school or vocational education in technology, operations, process, or equivalent experience
  • Driver's license B (requirement)
  • Good computer skills, as we use operational monitoring systems and other business systems.
  • Swedish in speech and writing
  • Experience from water and sewage, process industry, electricity, or automation is an advantage.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are:

  • Independent and proactive – you take responsibility for your work and ensure that tasks are completed.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-conscious – you ensure that work is performed to a high standard to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Service-oriented and communicative – you have contact with both colleagues and community residents.
  • Solution-oriented – you handle unforeseen operational stoppages and emergency situations effectively.
  • A team player – collaboration is key in our operations, and we are looking for someone who is responsive, flexible, and contributes to a good working environment.

Why You Will Enjoy Working with Us:

With us, you not only get a job – you get a secure employer and an important role in society.

We offer, among other things:

  • A varied job with great freedom under responsibility
  • Colleagues who work closely together and share their knowledge
  • Opportunities for professional development in operations, technology, and safety
  • A stable workplace with long-term prospects
  • The opportunity to work and live in Dalarna – with proximity to nature, outdoor life, and a good balance between work and leisure.
