As a maintenance mechanic, your long-term most important task will be to perform preventive maintenance; to ensure that our machines do not break down. You will also perform some corrective maintenance; to repair machines that have broken down.

To thrive with us, you need to enjoy working with troubleshooting, and it is of great importance that you, either independently or together with colleagues, are tireless in working to improve our machines and work methods.

• Preventive maintenance
• Planned and emergency corrective maintenance
• Improvements and modifications
• Responsible for planning, execution, and reporting of work.

Qualifications

It is appropriate if you have education and experience in the following technical areas:

• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Lubrication technology
• Welding technology
• Machining
• Assembly technology
• Maintenance technology
• Structured troubleshooting and root cause investigation.
• Reading technical drawings
• Good computer skills and experience with maintenance systems, such as Maximo
• Swedish spoken and written

We prefer that you have relevant technical education and documented experience from work in the manufacturing or process industry. The position involves many contact points both internally and externally, which requires your ability to meet and communicate. The position is based in Falun and is during daytime hours. Some weekend on-call duty is included in the position.
