Our Operations
The Pediatric Recovery Unit (BUVA) has seven beds and is located adjacent to the pediatric surgery department. We care for the majority of all postoperative patients aged 0 - 18 years, except for the most complicated cases that are treated in the pediatric intensive care unit.
Children and adolescents who need anesthesia and surgery come to pediatric surgery. Specialties include urology, upper gastrointestinal surgery, orthopedics, hand surgery, and neonatal surgery. Children from oncology and neurosurgery also come to pediatric surgery. Each of us associated with pediatric surgery primarily works with pediatric care, which is a solid foundation for safely and securely caring for everyone from premature infants to large teenagers. We are humble in the task of caring for children who need treatment and surgery. It is important for us that both the children and accompanying relatives feel well taken care of and secure.
