JOB DESCRIPTION

As an assistant nurse in home care, you provide individually tailored support and care so that our clients can live a safe and independent life in their own homes.

You perform assessed assistance according to the Social Services Act, such as personal care, support during transfers, help with meals, shopping, meal distribution, cleaning, and other household chores. The work also includes social support, escorting, respite care, and handling of security alarms. You also perform delegated health and medical care tasks on behalf of home healthcare, such as medication management, wound dressing, and monitoring of blood pressure and blood sugar. Documentation according to current guidelines is included in the work.

The position is a temporary contract at 85% until the end of the year. You will work according to a rolling four-week schedule with shifts every other weekend. Working hours are scheduled between 07:00 and 22:00 and include both day and evening shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare and who feels confident working independently in the clients' own homes.

Requirements:

• Trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title
• Experience in home care or elderly care
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• Experience with Viva and TES
• Previous HSL delegation
