Årsta Health Center
Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
Welcome to Årsta Health Center!
We are looking for a district physician
We are looking for a committed and secure district physician who wants to help develop our operations! Årsta Health Center is a stable and well-staffed health center that works with continuity and quality in focus. Our health center is a valued operation with a good working climate and strong team spirit. At our health center, the physician group has two hours a week set aside for physician meetings. Physician meetings are prioritized to strengthen competence, increase collaboration within the group, and improve the work environment. By sharing experiences and discussing patient cases at meetings, patient safety can also be increased. We now offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. Part-time can be discussed.
We invest in secure employment and good benefits through our collective agreement, read about them here (benefits brochure (https://www.regionuppsala.se/Global/Jobba%20hos%20oss/karri%E4rwebben/F%F6rm%E5nsbroschyr%20Region%20Uppsala_2019.pdf)). In addition to your individual development plan, we also have regular training days for professional development. This means you will be part of a large network of knowledgeable colleagues.
Your mission
With us, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with acute and planned visits. This also includes supervision of medical students and AT/ST/BT physicians as well as some on-call/standby duties.
There is an opportunity for assignments at BVC, MVC, elderly care, diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure clinics.
Your competence
We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We value good collaboration skills, attention to detail, commitment, and flexibility. It is important for us that you have a warm and professional approach towards both patients and colleagues, and that you want to contribute to a positive work climate. You enjoy working in a team with other professionals and would like to contribute to the development of the operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Our operations
Årsta Health Center is located in the expanding area just outside Uppsala city center. We have over 15,500 registered patients and are over 70 employees, making us the third largest health center in the county. All professional areas are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the health center's mission. We work in teams, which makes the work both developing and inspiring. The health center's physician group currently consists of eleven specialist physicians and five ST physicians.
