Johan i Hallen & Bergfalk is the specialist offering a carefully selected range of meat, fish, and seafood to restaurants and stores. We have our own production where we have crafted sausages and charcuterie since 1916! Every day we cut fish and detail butchering and refine meat according to our customers' needs. We have production, warehouse, and offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Helsingborg. In Gothenburg, we are located both in Fiskhamnen and in Partille, where our headquarters and largest warehouse are situated. From our local offices, we deliver fresh goods daily across the country.
As a Quality Manager Audit, you play a key role in ensuring quality and regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain. You are responsible for audits, supplier approval, and supplier management, acting as an expert support to the organization. The role is both strategic and operational and suits you who thrive on responsibility, analysis, and driving improvements in a constantly evolving business. The position is based in Stockholm or Gothenburg and involves regular travel within Sweden as well as internationally.
About the role
In the role of Quality Manager Audit, you have overall responsibility for ensuring a structured and well-functioning operation within audits and supplier management. You drive and develop the company's internal audit program and ensure that suppliers, processes, and working methods comply with applicable legislation, relevant standards, and internal quality requirements. The role combines strategic responsibility with an operational approach where you are actively involved in audits, follow-ups, and improvement work.
You work closely with the Quality Director and other colleagues in quality, as well as having broad collaboration with purchasing, production, and other parts of the organization. The role includes planning and conducting internal audits, acting as Lead Auditor, and providing qualified support during external audits and regulatory inspections. An important part of the assignment is also to conduct supplier audits, follow up on deviations, and drive corrective actions together with suppliers.
Furthermore, you are responsible for monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators related to supplier management and actively contribute to developing and harmonizing quality processes in an organization undergoing strong growth and change. The role also includes responsibility for handling withdrawals and recalls.
Your experience
You have an academic background in food technology, food safety, or equivalent, and a few years of experience in the food industry, preferably within fresh goods. We wish that you have experience in audits and supplier management as well as a good understanding of food legislation and quality standards such as GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000. It is highly meritorious if you have experience working with packaging and if you have worked with project management of improvement work and process development. You are used to collaborating with suppliers, internal functions, and external parties and communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
