On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles, royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, and one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state value framework, and contribute to positive societal development.

Are you solution-oriented, have good knowledge of building technology, and are interested in the challenge of working with culturally historical environments? We are now looking for someone to help manage our properties.

We need to strengthen our management organization within the property area of Eastern Stockholm and are therefore seeking a technical manager. The Eastern Stockholm property area manages buildings and land in central Stockholm, Östermalm, and Frescati. Among our tenants are theaters, authorities, museums, restaurant operations, and offices. Within the property area, there are property managers, technical managers, management assistants, and an operations organization with whom you will closely collaborate. An important part is to nurture our customer relationships with tenants, our own operations organization, and the rest of the management.

Your Role

As a technical manager, you will preserve and develop one or more properties through strategic maintenance planning and project and construction management of measures and projects within the property area's responsibility. As a technical manager, you and your property team are responsible for the technical status of the properties and their follow-up in areas such as environment, quality, energy, cultural heritage, and long-term sustainability.

The primary partners in this role are property managers, operations technicians, and management assistants in an established management team, as well as the operations manager and group manager. Additionally, close collaboration with tenants, energy coordinators, technical support, project managers, fire safety and finance managers, and contractors is included.

The buildings of SFV have significant cultural historical values, which require careful and gentle handling to be preserved for the future. Modern functionality, comfort, and technology are also important aspects. We are constantly working on energy efficiency, long-term sustainability, and technical improvements. As a technical manager, you will participate in business planning and budget work and follow up on authority inspections and technical documentation for each property.

You will report to the group manager.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree or vocational training, or you have acquired similar knowledge through practical experience in the field. We prefer that you have previous experience in maintenance planning, procurement, construction project management (client organization), building technology, contract law, and finance. It is advantageous if you have a focus on technical installations such as ventilation, fire safety, control, and regulation, etc.

We offer you an interesting and challenging job in fantastic environments where you will have significant responsibility for properties and tenants. We place great importance on your personal qualities. As a person, you are structured, confident, and relationship-building. You are accustomed to communicating clearly and correctly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

How to Apply

To apply for the position, we ask you to attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions based on the requirements profile. In the first selection, we will only consider your CV and your answers to the questions. We wish for you to respond concretely and succinctly, and that there is a clear connection between your answers and your CV.
