About us
Syvab AB owns and operates Himmerfjärdsverket – one of Sweden's largest wastewater treatment plants, beautifully located by the Baltic Sea in southern Botkyrka. Every day, we treat wastewater from approximately 350,000 people in southwestern Stockholm.
Our mission is clear: to protect the Baltic Sea and contribute to a more sustainable society. Therefore, we continuously invest in new technology and development projects. We are currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation, including membrane filtration and cascade nitrogen removal.
