Marabou is part of the Mondelēz International group, the world’s largest chocolate company. In addition to our own Nordic brands Marabou and Freia, we also have chocolate from Milka, Cadbury, Toblerone, Côte d’Or, and Suchard.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machines and machine parts, getting machines back to optimal condition after breakdowns, collaborating with maintenance colleagues to solve problems, liaising with production staff, and coordinating between production and maintenance. The position is varied and offers good opportunities for development. This role includes responsibility for emergency maintenance. You will work on a rotating schedule with working hours of 06:06-14:36 and 14:36-23:06 every other week.

Business Goals

• Ensure maximum uptime for production lines through effective preventive and planned maintenance.

• Minimize unplanned downtime and production losses.

• Maintain high safety standards and adhere to workplace and machine safety regulations.

• Have machine knowledge to support and train production staff.

• Contribute expertise in mechanics and electronics to drive improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs with precision and efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and repair during unplanned downtime/breakdowns.

• Ensure that machines and equipment return to operation in optimal condition.

• Participate in risk assessments for maintenance.

• Procure new and/or process broken components.

• Document completed work and reporting.

• Collaborate with technicians to address various types of breakdowns.

• Work according to safety regulations and follow the company’s workplace policy.

• Participate in training and workshops to stay updated on new technologies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

• Experience in quick repairs and troubleshooting.

• Experience with technical documentation such as technical drawings and schematics.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Practical experience working with production machines.

Desirable/Preferred

• Knowledge of automation and PLC systems. Electrical training or equivalent.

• Welding and turning.

• Data analysis to predict maintenance needs (predictive maintenance).

• Competence in digital maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM).

• Work according to Lean Six Sigma.

About the Employment

The employment is permanent (probationary employment may apply). The position is full-time, and working hours are 06:06-14:36 and 14:36-23:06 every other week.

Start date by agreement.
