Within the Rehabilitation and Support Unit in Trelleborg, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants work together. We are part of the reception and rehabilitation area and work within the hospital's medical and primary care services as well as in the orthopedic department. We operate in both inpatient and outpatient care and are part of various reception teams. Our focus is on health promotion and disease prevention with the patient at the center. All rehabilitation and supportive measures are based on the patient's own conditions and goals. We strive for the patient to take personal responsibility for achieving change and improvement in their rehabilitation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position in the Rehabilitation and Support Unit in Trelleborg.
The job responsibilities include conducting psychosocial treatment work at the hospital. You will assist in crisis management and provide psychosocial support to patients and their relatives. This also includes providing information about community support services and assisting in contact with various partners. As a new employee, you will have a mentor. You will also participate in external supervision together with your three social work colleagues.
This advertisement is for a temporary position starting upon agreement and lasting until 2027-09-17.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Good language skills in Swedish are required in both speech and writing. If you belong to a licensed professional group, language skills in Swedish must correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We prefer candidates with several years of work experience. It is an advantage if you have a license as a healthcare social worker and further education in psychosocial treatment work. Experience with the Melior journal system is also a plus.
You have a genuine interest in people and keep the patient at the center. We expect you to contribute with competence and a good attitude to provide our patients with the best possible care. You are engaged and take responsibility for your work. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach and contribute to a good working environment. Personal suitability is highly valued.
