Care Assistants Wanted for Home Care Area 4 in Mariestad

Home Care Area 4 is part of elderly care, and we are based in Humlet in central Mariestad, where our two center groups work to provide the best possible support to our wonderful residents! Our home care area is beautifully situated, surrounded by greenery along the Tidan River.

We have 30 employees with us and are now looking for three care assistants for permanent employment with immediate start.

Are you a responsive and caring person with good collaboration skills? Do you have previous experience in elderly care? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your work, you will perform personal care such as dressing and undressing and support in toilet and shower situations. You will carry out delegated healthcare tasks including medication distribution, venipunctures, and wound dressings. Other tasks include service efforts, daily chores, and social interaction. The work also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers. The work is largely independent, but double staffing may also occur.

We work with fixed care contacts and representative assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with the responsibility and at the same time be part of the development of the organization.

We operate on a 14-week schedule with shifts during the day and evening, and you will also work three out of seven weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover for absences at other workplaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, we are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and preferably has work experience from home care.

We are looking for someone who is a responsive, positive, and secure person in individual meetings with clients and has a good ability to work independently with caring tasks. Your inspiring and positive approach contributes to a good community and joy among both residents and your colleagues.

You should be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues, where you are expected to step in and support as needed in both groups, even in other areas through resource shifts.

We would like you to have experience in meeting individuals with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is because many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information correctly and clearly. You should also have digital maturity in computer and mobile use as we use these as working tools.

A B driver's license is an advantage for the position.
