About the Organization

Sahlgrenska University Hospital is part of the Västra Götaland region. We work with everything from county healthcare to highly specialized national healthcare. The hospital has three overarching goals: We will deliver top-class emergency care, create value for the patient, and be the country’s leading university hospital.

The Surgical Department at Sahlgrenska has three wards with a total of 84 beds, a clinic, and a research clinic. The wards focus on breast surgery, malignant melanoma surgery, endocrine and sarcoma surgery, as well as surgery within the upper gastrointestinal tract. Both emergency and planned care are provided at the units.

The research clinic is linked to the Surgical Clinic at Sahlgrenska and there is close collaboration.

What We Offer

An exciting and independent role awaits you as a research nurse at the Surgical Research Clinic at Sahlgrenska. You will work in a team with several other research nurses and be responsible for the practical work in the clinical studies we conduct regarding patients undergoing surgery for breast cancer and malignant melanoma.

Job Responsibilities

Mainly administrative tasks with significant responsibility to identify and include study patients, collect data, and manage study-specific databases. The tasks include close contact with patients and other colleagues within the Surgical Department.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. You have previous experience working with research. Great consideration is given to personal qualities such as the ability to work independently, flexibility, and interest in working with people.
