About Us
Do you want to help develop Närhälsan Opaltorget Health Center? We are looking for a new team member who wants to be part of our group.
You will receive a varied and interesting assignment, we share daily tasks and each has their areas of responsibility and focus at other times. Närhälsan Opaltorget Health Center is located in western Gothenburg and we have 7,500 registered patients reflecting the demographics, socioeconomics, and ages in the area. We also take care of care and nursing homes for the elderly and younger individuals in need of functional support and home care as well as BHV. We continuously work on developing the operations focused on medical quality, accessibility, and continuity. We also work more specifically towards different medical areas, which provides an opportunity to develop in roles such as asthma/COPD and elderly care.

About the Job
Your tasks at the health center span a wide area and include the general medical assignment where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You will work health-promoting with advice and treatment in primary care, both via phone, home visits, e-services, digital care meetings, and at the clinic. You will be responsible for our direct line for the elderly a few days a week and collaborate with municipal primary care, social services, and inpatient care in SAMSA.
The work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. Close cooperation occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the consultation team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care.
About You
You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. You should also have previous experience working in primary care. Further education in elderly care is an advantage, as well as having worked with this before, but we also welcome you who have an interest in working with elderly patients. Training as a diabetes nurse is also an advantage.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. The work requires a great deal of flexibility as we may need to reschedule based on daily staffing. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts.

Other Information
The position involves travel in the local area, primarily in connection with home visits. A driver's license is an advantage. We also have access to electric bicycles.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
