The Health Promotion and Prevention department is now looking for new summer colleagues.

In Gothenburg, there are 18 day activities focused on social and cognitive illnesses (primarily dementia). The city is divided into four districts, and you can find more information under the heading 'Other'.

In the role of summer substitute at the day activity, you will help participants live an active life through various activities and support. This may include participating in outdoor activities, conversing, solving crosswords, baking, or conducting gymnastics. You will listen to the participants, follow up on their needs, and help them improve their quality of life. The tasks also include care work, including tasks assigned by licensed staff, such as medication. Lifting may occur.

Your working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. You have the opportunity to express how you want to work during the summer. This may mean that you will have the chance to work at different exciting day activities based on the needs of the organization.

About You

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old by June 1, 2026 (Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulation on minors' work environment AFS 2018:8)
• Ongoing or completed high school education
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Computer skills

Meritorious

• Experience working in a day activity
• Experience in leading artistic, musical, or other activities

In your role, you will meet many people, which requires that you can work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your meetings, and always have the participants' best interests in focus. The workday may sometimes turn out differently than planned because you work with people; therefore, you maintain calm, balance different demands, and can adjust how you work when things change.
