Home Care Area 2 in Mariestad is part of elderly care and includes the groups Bråten, Lockerud, and Gärdet. Here, 20 employees work to provide the best possible support to our residents!

We are now looking for a care assistant for a permanent position who wants to be part of our team. Are you a positive, flexible, and attentive team player who is passionate about making a difference? You might be the one we are looking for!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your work, you will perform personal care such as dressing and undressing and support in toilet and shower situations. You will carry out delegated healthcare tasks including medication distribution, venipunctures, and wound dressings. Other tasks include service efforts, daily chores, and social interaction. The work also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager. The work is largely independent, but double staffing may occur.

We work with fixed care contacts and representative assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with responsibility and also be part of the development of the organization.

We operate on a 7-week schedule with shifts during the day and evening, and you will also work three out of seven weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover for absence at other workplaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and preferably has work experience from home care.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, positive, and secure in individual meetings with clients and has a good ability to work independently with caring tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to a good community and joy among both residents and your colleagues.

Since the area primarily involves apartment visits, you should be in good physical health. You should also be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues where you are expected to step in and support as needed in both groups, even in other areas through resource shifts.

We would like you to have experience in meeting people with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, due to many of your tasks involving receiving instructions and conveying information correctly and clearly. You should also have digital maturity in computer and mobile use as we use these as work tools.

A driver's license is an advantage for these positions.
