About the role and your tasks

We are now looking for an employee for a weekend evening position. You will be employed in a regular position with a fixed-term assignment. You will work full-time hours of 27 hours/week and work every weekend; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Working hours are from 14:15 to 22:45. During a six-week period, three day shifts will also be included, among other things in connection with APT. Overtime is not possible in connection with weekend work. The weekend assignment is written for 3 or 6 months at a time and may be extended; otherwise, you will return to a regular nursing assistant position, which means a permanent employment of 36.33 hours per week with duty every other weekend.

Your work is guided by the needs of the individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, care work, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and anything else that the person you are supporting needs help with. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the operation and maintaining good quality.

Qualifications

• You are a trained nursing assistant.
• Experience working in care and support.
• For work in home care for younger individuals, you need to be comfortable riding a bike and have a manual driving license.
• You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• You also need to have good digital skills, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, committed, flexible, and attentive - with clients, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their everyday life.

About the workplace

The home care service of Lund Municipality is divided into several areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area also has a unit administrator and planner/coordinator. Home care for younger individuals offers service, care, and home health care interventions to the municipality's clients who are younger than 65. The target group is broad, and you will benefit from experiences in areas such as disability services, psychiatry, somatics, etc.

Home Care for Younger Individuals has its gathering place on Bankgatan in central Lund. From here, we bike or drive out to clients living around Lund city, distributed across four areas; Linero/Tuna, Centrum/Klostergården, Värpinge, Gunnesbo/Nöbbelöv, and Fäladen.

The goal of home care is to perform assignments with high quality based on individual needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to remain in their own home.
