Do you want to help develop psychiatric and addiction care in Region Dalarna? We have organized the adult psychiatry's ST doctors and are looking for a medical chief. With us, you will have a stimulating and varied job with great personal responsibility and close collegial cooperation.

The adult psychiatry's inpatient and outpatient care are separate clinics with a county-wide mission that includes emergency care, inpatient care, outpatient care, and addiction care in several locations in the region. We focus on patients, relatives, and employees and work for person-centered care of high quality. The goal is to provide patients with the best possible recovery and reduce unnecessary inpatient time. • Säter: Psychiatric emergency department, ward 90 PIVA, and ward 95 PAVA
• Falun: Addiction emergency, ward 65 addiction department, and a LARO reception, ward 60 general psychiatric ward including ECT and rTMS

We offer user-controlled admissions and have access to care developers, an administrative team, and a treatment team with psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists. The on-call line is staffed together with the Forensic Psychiatric Clinic in Säter. Outpatient psychiatry is available in several locations in the county. Our ST doctors are placed both in outpatient and inpatient care.

Chief physician with appointment as medical chief for adult psychiatry's ST doctors Job Responsibilities

The assignment includes being the medical chief for adult psychiatry's ST doctors. Together with the ST education director, you are responsible for the ST doctors' work environment, education, supervision, and planning. You are part of the management group in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry where you contribute to collaboration and development. You work on-site in the region where you have ST doctors placed, with the possibility of remote work by agreement. You are responsible for planning the primary on-call staffing with the help of administrative support.

Some clinical duties and on-call duties are included in the assignment. Within the division, you have medical chief colleagues responsible for the senior physicians.

Requirements:

• Swedish medical license with completed specialist training in psychiatry
• Experience in psychiatry
• Solid interest in our specialty and a desire to influence the future development of the specialty within Region Dalarna
• Independently take responsibility for your work and can lead and distribute others' work
• Good pedagogue who can adapt information to the recipient and sees the value of collaboration
• Experience as a manager with personnel responsibility - references can attest to good leadership qualities

Meritorious:

• Work with patient safety work, incident management, and routines

Attached to the application:

· Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where you completed your basic education

· License certificate/specialist certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare

· Any certificate of academic degree, e.g., Doctor of Medicine/Docent, as well as the date of the dissertation and title of the thesis

· Fully updated publication list, if applicable

· Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and any other pedagogical merits

· Any documented merit regarding clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, leadership experience, and anything else that is meritorious for the position

· Documented teaching and supervision merits (including approved ST supervisor training)

· Competence to be an independent on-call physician, which also involves medical management responsibility during on-call hours

· Time worked as a specialist physician, medical chief is meritorious and must be substantiated with documentation

This position requires that you have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed health and medical care personnel (HOSP) before any job offer.
