JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an employee in the short-term unit, you will have varied tasks focusing on motivational work and support based on individual needs. A challenge that tests creativity and is developing on many levels.
Your tasks will consist of performing nursing and prescribed/delegated health and medical care interventions, based on the user's goals, wishes, and needs, with a focus on quality.
This may involve personal care, administering medication, performing specific and everyday training, wound dressings, and sample collections. The operation is team-based, where nursing staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses work together.
We need new staff for several positions as employees are retiring. We will call everyone for an interview as applications come in.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a trained nursing assistant with experience. Experience in dementia care, palliative care, and rehabilitation is advantageous.
The work requires that you are attentive and put the user's needs at the center, are flexible, and have the ability to work independently. You have a good attitude, are open and positive in your relationships with others, and find it easy to collaborate with your colleagues and other individuals such as nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and relatives.
You work systematically, and by taking initiative, you ensure that the work progresses. It is also important for the role that you can balance different demands and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. Since our operations are characterized by a strong focus on quality, it is essential that you have the ability to see improvement opportunities and a willingness to contribute to the development of our operations.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
