The psychiatric clinic in Sandviken is part of specialist psychiatry in Region Gävleborg and is tasked with providing interventions that promote mental health and quality of life. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in a team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, caregivers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The work is based on cross-professional teams, where different competencies and experiences enrich and complement each other.

As a junior doctor with us, you will work with:

• conducting psychiatric assessments to identify and establish conditions and care needs
• developing treatment plans based on patients' individual needs
• prescribing medication
• providing psychoeducation to patients and relatives about mental conditions and treatment options.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are flexible, structured, and have good collaboration and communication skills. You have a strong interest in psychiatry and patient safety issues. To thrive with us, you are a person who contributes to a positive work climate and values collaboration with colleagues.

In the role of a doctor, you should:

• be a licensed physician
• have adequate clinical experience.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have adequate clinical experience, preferably from psychiatry.
