About the Workplace

The Rehabilitation Unit has been in existence since the introduction of the rehab care choice and has adapted its workforce to meet the increasing demand.

The rehab clinic is part of Centrumpraktiken, a healthcare center within Praktikertjänst with approximately 15,000 registered patients. In addition to medical and nursing consultations, there is also a child health clinic, vaccination clinic, and counseling clinic including a rehab coordinator. The healthcare center is located in central Kungälv, easily accessible by both car and bus. The travel time from central Gothenburg is about 25-30 minutes.

Job Responsibilities

We work within the rehab care choice with patients of all ages. Common tasks include functional assessments, counseling, home visits, preventive measures, as well as tailored supervised training, group activities, and education. We offer programs such as osteoarthritis school, medical yoga, pain school, and COPD school.

Currently, we have 3 occupational therapists and 6 physiotherapists and are now looking for an additional physiotherapist. We are in the final stages of renovating our facilities for the physiotherapy clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in primary care with typical patient groups is preferred. It is a plus if you are a trained supervisor.

Personal Attributes

This involves teamwork, but also the ability to act as the first point of contact as a physiotherapist. We work closely with the healthcare center, which is divided into teams within the organization with daily rounds.

Additional Information

The position is a full-time temporary position, but the working hours can be discussed based on specific needs. The start date is negotiable, earliest February 23. Recruitment is ongoing. The temporary position lasts until August 31 with the possibility of extension.
