The role of electrician at Folksol
As an electrician at Folksol, you will work with modern energy solutions primarily for private individuals but also for companies around Greater Stockholm and Uppsala. You will work independently in the field with support from coordinators and project managers, and have great freedom to plan your workday. You will start from home with a service vehicle and manage planning and assignments via the company's app.
Your responsibilities include:
- Installation and commissioning of inverters for solar power systems
- Installation of battery storage
- Installation of charging stations
- Troubleshooting, cable routing, and work in meter cabinets
- Service and after-sales work as needed
- Ongoing customer contact, you are the face of Folksol.
- Technical advice to customers regarding energy solutions as needed
Your qualifications as an electrician
- At least a first-year installer with 1-2 years of experience in electrical work.
- Electrician training at the high school level (ECY or equivalent).
- Driver's license (B).
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
- Experience with solar energy, battery solutions, and/or charging stations.
- Previous work with customer contact or sales.
- Experience with independent installations.

- Self-driven with a strong work ethic and initiative.
- Social, communicative, and confident in customer dialogue.
- Service-oriented and solution-focused.
- Responsible and meticulous in your work.

Folksol operates in Greater Stockholm and Uppsala with an office in Täby. The customer base consists of approximately private customers and B2B. The core business is inverters and battery solutions, with a strong focus on quality, careful installations, and long-term energy solutions.
