Are you a confident leader with experience in transport planning and logistics? Are you driven by developing people and want to make the world more sustainable? Join our development journey and apply for the position of team leader for our transport and export! Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Through second-hand, development collaborations, and labor integration, Artikel2 works for a world that truly lasts. We are a non-profit organization, religiously and politically independent, with a collective agreement and a 90-account.

About the role

As the team leader for transport and export, you are responsible for efficient and sustainable transport during collection, store deliveries, and export sales. You have overall operational responsibility for the unit's daily operations. Based on inflow and delivery plans to our stores and export customers, you plan and lead the work for your team of 12 drivers.

The team you lead consists of both employees and individuals in labor market measures such as work training/internships and development services. Therefore, the role holder needs to have a genuine interest in people's development and sees opportunities rather than limitations when demands are made and expectations clarified.

The team leader has a good overview of the entire goods flow and works in close contact with production and stores. The role includes being available for job-related questions and handling unforeseen deviations as needed.

Your main tasks include:

  • Planning collection, store deliveries, and export sales.

  • Monitoring the established budget and targeted key figures.

  • Contact with partners within the municipality, authorities, and other external actors.

Overall areas of responsibility:

  • Introduction, development, and follow-up of the department's assigned individuals in labor market measures and dialogue with external parties, such as the Employment Service.

  • Operational personnel responsibility, including ongoing follow-up and requirements setting.

  • Ensuring efficient inventory management.

  • Maintenance of the vehicle fleet and inventory, including coordination of inspections, repairs, and workshop bookings.

  • Compliance with agreements regarding collection and export.

The role is predominantly operational, but you also have responsibility for developing processes and operations in consultation with the supply chain manager, to whom you report. Strategic budget responsibility is handled by the supply chain manager.

About you

You have good and clear leadership characterized by responsiveness and a positive view of people. You share our vision of a labor market where there is an understanding that people have different abilities and conditions – and that individuals can grow with the right support and guidance. You have the ability to pedagogically guide, set demands on, and hold follow-up conversations with employees.

To thrive in the role, you enjoy quick problem-solving and can handle the unexpected, as the incoming second-hand flow is largely unpredictable. You can independently prioritize tasks depending on the situation and are both structured and flexible in your role. You are confident in taking clear ownership of your responsibilities and your work group.

Requirements:

  • Driving license B

  • At least 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of leadership for 10 or more people

  • Experience and good ability and knowledge in logistics/transport

  • Very good administrative skills and general digital competence

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Forklift license B

  • Experience in staffing planning and transport planning

  • Previous experience working with labor integration

  • Experience working with external customers and partners

  • Experience maintaining a vehicle fleet

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., logistics or economics) or equivalent experience

  • Quick availability for starting the assignment
