We are now looking for a licensed nurse for a summer position within elderly care and health center at Närvård Frostviken in Gäddede.

Närvård Frostviken is a joint organization between Strömsund Municipality and Region Jämtland Härjedalen. By bringing together the health center, ambulance services, special housing, and home care under the same organization, a close and cohesive care is created for the population in Frostviken. The goal is to offer safe, qualitative, and cost-effective care with short decision-making paths and close cooperation between professions.

The operations are located in Gäddede where the health center, the special housing Levinsgården, and the secure housing Forsgården are gathered. Home care is based at Forsgården, which contributes to a natural collaboration between the operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at Närvård Frostviken, you work for good and safe care.

Your tasks include:

• Care - Perform nursing actions, provide patients with safety and support, and promote health and prevent diseases
• Medical treatment - Administer medications, take blood samples, and perform wound treatments
• Assessment and planning - Assess patients' health status, plan and lead nursing work
• Documentation - Write records and document the patient's health status and treatments; we use Cosmic
• Communication - Inform and support patients and relatives
• Collaboration - Work in a team with other professionals such as doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing staff

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.
