Due to changes in our team, we need a new employee and are therefore looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our dedicated workgroup.

Job Responsibilities

At the health center, you will meet patients of all ages and with various needs as a district nurse or a registered nurse with experience in primary care. No day is the same, and the work involves a variety of tasks throughout the day and week.

You will be responsible for your own planned reception, emergency reception, and drop-in reception where you meet patients with acute symptoms. You will provide telephone advice, health conversations, and digital visits via 1177 Direct. There is also an opportunity to work with specialist assignments and in teams around our various patient groups.

In the fall of 2023, we opened our drop-in reception where nurses work in teams together with other nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors. This is one of several improvement initiatives that are an important part of our daily work and have led to increased accessibility for our patients.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers in Västmanland and the health centers' emergency receptions are operated as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future of primary care.

Närvården Sala Väsby is responsible for 13,100 listed patients. Our unit includes consultations with doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, a psychosocial team with social workers, as well as maternal and child health care. The operation also includes a branch clinic in Västerfärnebo.

Since 2021, we have offered patients the ability to chat with us via a digital platform, 1177 Direct, which has further increased our accessibility.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed nurse, preferably with further training as a district nurse or a registered nurse with experience in primary care and work at a health center. Specialist competence in diabetes is an advantage for the position. You preferably have experience with the Cosmic journal system and you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

• You have the will and capacity to help others and have the ability to create good meetings.
• You are open to changes and used to adapting to new shifts in work pace and tasks.

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
