The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Sundbo, located outside Fagersta, receives non-school-attending boys with psychosocial issues as well as criminality and substance abuse. We are tasked with providing care for young people with special care needs and accept boys who have been sentenced to closed youth care (LSU).
Job Description
Do you want a job where you have the opportunity to make a real difference every day? We are now looking for a psychologist for SiS Youth Home Sundbo, where you have the opportunity to contribute to good care and treatment at both the individual and group level through individual treatment contacts as well as supervision of treatment staff.
As a psychologist at SiS Youth Home Sundbo, you will work for the entire institution with treatment, assessments, screening and investigations, risk and needs assessments, consultations, and case supervision, depending on your interests and capabilities. Here, the psychologist has significant responsibility and influence. You will be part of the school's student health team under the leadership of the principal. You contribute to the institution's competence development by continuously educating and supervising treatment staff. At Sundbo, our staff is trained in areas such as CBT, suicide prevention, and TMO. Psychologists are responsible for training, supervision, and consultation for all departments and teachers.
You will also be part of our health and medical care unit, which consists of nurses, psychologists, and a consulting physician.

Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience working with children and adolescents. Particularly meritorious is if you have experience from psychiatric assessment and treatment, CBT, and teamwork.
As a person, you are secure and stable with well-founded, clear values that guide your daily work, while also being adaptable to changing circumstances. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward. You also have good collaborative and relationship-building skills, a positive outlook on life, and communicate clearly. Additionally, you have an excellent ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You should also have:
- Driver's license (B)
- Basic IT experience
Meritorious:
- Experience from psychiatry, correctional care, and working with youth is advantageous.
- Experience and good knowledge in testing methodology, as well as experience in independent work with youth.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
