The Community Planning Administration aims to make, maintain, manage, and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure, and transport with a forward-thinking approach. The administration's work is characterized by collaboration, a holistic view, and efficient resource utilization. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from ecological, social, and economic perspectives.

The Community Planning Administration consists of the following areas of activity: Physical planning, Water, sewage and waste, Streets, parks and forests, and Properties, Environment and construction. The Project and Investment unit drives and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments.

The main task of the Property Management is to provide cost- and operation-efficient premises for municipal activities on behalf of the Property Board. The administration should provide the municipal activities with service in property matters and coordinate the municipality's local planning. In addition, the administration offers services in the form of cleaning and caretaking to the municipality's other administrations. The Operations Unit is responsible for maintenance, supervision, and care in and around the municipality's properties in the form of repairs, external maintenance, etc. We are a small organization, which means we have short decision-making paths where you are given great trust and responsibility.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an operations technician for the Property Department where you will work in one of four operational areas. The tasks of the operations technicians are to ensure that the municipal properties are attended to and maintained in a safe, economical, and energy-efficient manner. Furthermore, they must ensure that our tenants have a good indoor climate in terms of both temperature and access to good indoor air. You may also perform property caretaker tasks during peak workloads and absences.

On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education as an operations technician in properties or you have documented experience that is deemed equivalent.

Good experience in working with either control and regulation technology, HVAC technology, or refrigeration technology is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience working with swimming pool water treatment, IT systems for properties such as alarms or communication.

Computer skills and a B driver's license are required.

The ability to work alone as well as in a group is a prerequisite for doing a good job; initiative, and structure in your work are additional qualities we are looking for. We seek someone who enjoys working together with others but also independently performing your tasks. You have a good sense of service and a desire to meet customer needs. Great importance is placed on your personal qualities, such as responsibility, teamwork ability, and the ability to work well with others as well as independently.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. A security screening with a background check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
