Fortifikationsverket is looking for an operations technician in Jokkmokk. Are you looking for a varied job with a lot of responsibility with an employer that has a unique property portfolio? Your Day as an Operations Technician
Region North manages Fortifikationsverket's property portfolio in Sweden's four northernmost counties: Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland. Currently, about 130 people work in the region, distributed across management, operations, and support functions. Jokkmokk belongs to the Boden Yttre Norr operations district and consists of five property technicians, twelve operations technicians, and one operations manager. The property portfolio is varied, including workshops, restaurants, water production facilities, and backup power to simpler accommodation barracks and training facilities for the armed forces.
As an operations technician, you often work individually but also in a team, with inspections and maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairing property technical systems within electricity, water, and ventilation. The work also takes place in the field in various types of outdoor environments. You will also order work from contractors and follow up on their work. Collaboration occurs within the district and the region, and travel may be required. On-call duty may be included in the position. The work involves daily collaboration with the Armed Forces and our subcontractors.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a few years of work experience in the operation and maintenance of technical systems and/or properties. You have completed high school education. You have good administrative skills, good computer skills as a user of support systems, and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is required.
It is an advantage if you have professional experience in airport operations, troubleshooting of property technical installations, and work with various property technical systems or control and regulation technology. It is also beneficial if you have experience collaborating with both clients and customers. Additionally, having education in electricity, operations technology, plumbing, ventilation, control and regulation technology, energy optimization, brush saw, chainsaw, snowmobile license, and Class BE driver's license is an advantage.

About the Employment
The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The place of employment is Jokkmokk. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security check with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
