Service Technician Wanted at Dematek AB in Piteå

Dematek AB is the market's most complete supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented all over Sweden and are now looking for another service technician for the Piteå area. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

About You:

You will be offered a position where you control your workdays and organize your work independently at our customers' sites. We believe you appreciate working with freedom under responsibility. At our customers, you will work with preventive maintenance, service, and installation of our products such as overhead cranes, hoists, pillar jib cranes, and much more related to lifting. We would like you to be an open person who enjoys having a lot of customer contact and likes to sell both our services and products. You will have access to a well-equipped service vehicle and many people to call for help when needed.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

• A strong interest in technology
• Previous experience as a service technician
• Experience with commonly used administrative systems
• A valid driver's license (B)
• Basic knowledge of English
• Swedish citizenship as some jobs require security clearance

It is advantageous if you have electrical knowledge and can do PLC programming.

The work can sometimes be physically demanding, and since it sometimes takes place at great heights, you must be able to obtain a valid fitness certificate for climbing with significant elevation differences. Work underground may also occur.

We would like you to have a strong interest in technology, be meticulous, service-oriented, and enjoy customer contact. We expect you to communicate fluently in Swedish.

Other

We believe you live around Piteå and will work from home, with the opportunity to use your service vehicle as a company car. The position is full-time.

Many of our customers require security clearance. Therefore, it is important that you have a clean criminal record and a stable and good financial background. Some customers may also require alcohol and drug testing as part of their safety procedures.
