Information about the position

Professionals Nord is seeking an operator on behalf of Jernbro. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Jernbro for 6 months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Job responsibilities
As an operator at Jernbro, you will be an important part of the operation in our pilot plant in LKAB Malmberget. You will have a varied and developing role where you monitor machines, ensure quality, and participate in improvement work. The role involves a varied everyday life with technical challenges and opportunities to develop your skills, while you become part of a close-knit team in a safe and educational working environment.

Your main job responsibilities as an operator:

• Operate, monitor, and adjust machines and equipment
• Ensure that production meets quality requirements
• Perform basic troubleshooting and address operational disruptions
• Report deviations and production data
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning according to routines
• Follow safety regulations and workplace routines
• Contribute to order and tidiness in the workplace
• Participate in improvement work and development initiatives

In this role, you will work shifts, 7–7.

You find it easy to follow routines and instructions, but also take your own initiatives to solve problems when needed. We would like you to have a technical interest and a basic understanding of machines and processes, and that you have experience working in production or a similar environment. Welding training, experience in process work, or workshop knowledge is advantageous.
