Description

The Technical Unit is seeking a person to join our operations/on-call group for water supply, district heating, and street & park operations.

The work includes process monitoring, process optimization, follow-up, preventive maintenance, repairs, sampling and analysis work, as well as operation and maintenance of production, distribution, and purification facilities within the relevant areas. You will also carry out minor renovations and participate in investment projects. On-call duty is included.

Qualifications

It is advantageous if you have a BE driving license, C driving license, work experience as an installation/industrial electrician, education or previous experience in automation, or previous experience working in an operations group within industry or municipal technical operations with a focus on facilities and pipeline networks. Strongly advantageous is if you have previous experience in the operation and maintenance of district heating plants and treatment plants with good skills in mechanical maintenance and operation.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We place great importance on your ability to work both independently and in a team, planning and executing tasks. Since we work within a service operation, it is important that you have a very good sense of service and a positive attitude towards handling challenges that may arise in a business that operates around the clock, regardless of weather conditions.

To succeed in the position, good social skills, strong commitment, creativity, and good analytical ability are required. You should participate and collaborate with other staff within the technical operations and with contractors as needed.

You should have good technical skills and be comfortable working on a computer as large parts of the technical facilities are remotely monitored and troubleshot via computer. We would like you to have completed training such as Fall Protection, Instructed Person – Non-electrical work, Hot Work.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
