Pajala Municipality is looking for an Operations Technician

Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations technician, you will be part of a team primarily responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of our water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and pipeline networks. The work area within the Technical Department is broad and spans the entire municipality, which entails a varied job that also requires you to be flexible and able to plan your work effectively. On-call duty is included in the position, which means both planned and urgent work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience or education in Electrical/Water and Wastewater (VA) or operations technology. Experience with electrical installations, mechanics, and control technology is an advantage. A valid driver's license (B) and basic computer skills are required. Personal qualities such as social competence, teamwork ability, commitment, responsibility, and customer orientation are highly valued.
