Job Description

Do you want to work broadly with property management in a community-critical operation where sustainability, technology, and service are at the center? We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for operational reliability, energy efficiency, and customer experience in our campus environments.

Your mission

As a facility technician at Akademiska Hus in Luleå, you will have a technical generalist role with responsibility for the operation and maintenance of our properties in the area. You will work in a team within Technology and Service and, together with customer service, be the first contact for customers regarding operational issues and fault reports.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervision, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as contributing to the planning and implementation of preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan. You will actively work with operational and energy optimization to ensure a good indoor climate, high operational reliability, and efficient resource use.

You will have daily contact with customers and tenants, participate in assignments such as tenant services (THG), tenant adaptations (HGA), and energy measures, and collaborate closely with colleagues and contractors to create sustainable and effective solutions.

You will be based at the office in Luleå and report to the Department Head for the area.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • Experience in property management and a strong interest in properties and technology
  • Technical or property-oriented education at the high school level, preferably with further education from a vocational college or equivalent
  • Knowledge of technical installations such as:

o   Electrical/power and lighting

o   Ventilation

o   HVAC systems

o   Control and regulation technology

o   Energy and climate issues

  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish
  • Good computer skills
  • Driving license B

Working hours:

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30. In the long term, on-call duty may be included in the position (not a requirement).
