Lumire, Luleå Miljöresurs AB, is a municipal company for water and sewage, waste management, recycling, and reuse. Lumire is owned by Luleå Municipality and we are 240 employees ensuring that all residents of Luleå have fresh and tasty drinking water from the tap and that waste and sewage are managed in a circular manner.

We are responsible for Luleå Municipality's water and sewage operations (VA) with responsibility for new construction, operation, and maintenance of VA pipelines, water meters, sewage treatment plants, waterworks, and pumping stations. Water and Sewage is a future industry in constant development and with large investments. About the role
As an operations technician in sewage treatment, you will be part of a team of ten employees responsible for the operation and maintenance of our sewage treatment plants and pumping stations. The work includes process monitoring and operational optimization, as well as sampling, control, and troubleshooting of process, machine, electrical, control, regulation, and instrumentation functions.
The work is performed both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. In the role, you are a key person to ensure high quality in the delivery to the residents of Luleå and contribute to sustainable and secure water management.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, plans their work carefully, and has a genuine commitment to quality and community benefit. You are driven, solution-oriented, and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
You have a high school education, preferably with a focus on operations technology, or another relevant education. Alternatively, you have practical experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience with computer-based control and monitoring systems, as well as qualifications in electrical/electronics, is an advantage. We also place great importance on your willingness to develop and learn new things.
A B driver's license is required.

Information
Employment form, working hours: Permanent, probationary employment applies, full-time. After a training period, on-call duty will be included approximately every 9 weeks.
Salary conditions: According to agreement
You will work in an operation that is security classified, which requires you to undergo a security review, class 3, before employment.
