About the business

The mission of Kiruna Malmförädling is to refine the ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are sorting, concentrating, and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections within quality, technology and process development, material processes, and maintenance.

Your role

We are now looking for mechanics for Pellet Plants 2 and 3 (KK2/KK3). You will work in a team with a significant impact on daily operations, where you work in a structured and ambitious manner with tasks ranging from repairs to product development. You will design and deliver everything from service and maintenance to small components and large constructions, all alongside helpful colleagues. You are a solution-oriented person who quickly finds solutions to emerging problems and has an easy time building new relationships.

What you bring with you

• High school education with a mechanical focus or equivalent is required
• Manual transmission B driver's license is required
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is required
• Experience working as a mechanic is an advantage
• Professional experience in gas/electric welding is an advantage
