Fortifikationsverket is looking for an Operations Group Leader in Luleå. Are you looking for a varied job with an employer that has a different property portfolio? Your Daily Life as an Operations Group Leader

Region North manages Fortifikationsverket's property portfolio in Sweden's four northernmost counties: Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland. Within the region, about 120 people are currently working in management, operations, and support functions. The Luleå district currently includes 18 operations technicians, including 2 operations group leaders. The property portfolio in the Luleå operational district is varied, including everything from aircraft hangars, workshops, restaurants, barracks to vehicle washing facilities, cold garages, and similar. The operational district conducts supervision and maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairs of properties and property technical systems, as well as work in various types of outdoor environments, leading smaller projects, being an active participant in larger projects, and orders to contractors.

The role involves responsibility for leading operations technicians and performing supervision and maintenance for property technical objects within the property portfolio. The properties are located within the operational district. The work involves regular contact with both customers, mainly the Armed Forces, and contractors. The work is primarily conducted within the district, stationed in Luleå. Travel within the district may occur. On-call duty may be included in the position. The position reports to the operations manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education, preferably with a technical focus. You have experience in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical systems and/or properties. You have a good ability to lead other colleagues in work and experience in creating good customer relationships. You have good administrative skills, good computer skills as a user of support systems, and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. A Class B driver's license is required.

It is advantageous if you have training in operations and maintenance, electrical engineering, control and regulation technology, or HVAC, as well as training for chainsaw, brush cutter, snowmobile, work at heights, hot work. Work experience in fortification facilities or experience in security-classified operations is a plus.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The place of employment is Luleå. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
