JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a signaling technician at Infranord, you will have an exciting, varied, and social job in a socially important environment. You will spend a large part of your workday outdoors with your team and in close collaboration with other colleagues. The work includes new construction, inspection, as well as troubleshooting and fault correction of signaling systems in a railway environment. A natural part of the role also involves working in digital systems, where you document controls, actions, and fault reports.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role of signaling technician with us, we see that you appreciate varied tasks and have a problem-solving approach to work. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and contribute to good collaboration in the team. You will be part of a team of about eight signaling technicians based in Luleå and Boden. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, is driven, and takes initiative in daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Approved high school education with a focus on Electrical or signaling technology
  • Approved basic signaling education, e.g., BSG1, BSG2, and Signal Technical Principles and Basics (BSGS)
  • Professional experience in signaling work within the railway
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
  • Driving license B

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Electrical Safety Leader; track work, work equipment, and track vehicles, low and extra-low voltage
  • Safety and Security Leader (SOS leader)
  • Supervising Officer (TSM) for A-, L-, E-protection, and road watch
  • SISÄ authorization
  • Familiarity with various relay or computer-based signal control systems (e.g., model 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.)
  • ATC equipment and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS
