Neurological Training Center, NTC, is a private organization at the primary care level with an agreement with Region Västmanland. The facility is located in modern premises at Vallby Institute in Västerås. NTC offers neurological rehabilitation for adult residents throughout the county. The interventions are individually tailored for limited periods, with the aim of making a difference!

The team consists of a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, and two physiotherapists. We are a small and close-knit team striving for a health-promoting approach focused on engagement, competence, and a good working environment. We work person-centered with an interprofessional approach.

The position is full-time, but there is an opportunity for part-time work and personalized solutions.

Requirements

- Licensed speech therapist

Meritorious

- Work experience, preferably from neurology/neurological rehabilitation for adults.

- Experience in teamwork

- LSVT certification

We would like you to be engaged, flexible, and confident in your professional role. You can prioritize and work independently but also find it easy to collaborate with others.

The speech therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, as well as voice and oral-motor difficulties. Almost all training takes place at the clinic and is conducted individually and/or in groups. Collaboration with colleagues in inpatient/outpatient care and other authorities is included. Assessment and prescription of communication aids occur. In addition to profession-specific tasks, it includes working with other colleagues to drive and develop the organization.

The speech therapist is an important team member, and there are great opportunities to influence their role. Together with the rest of the team, you want to continue developing the organization!
