With us, you will have a varied daytime job with a focus on professional development.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who wants to work with patients and their situation and relatives regarding Parkinson's disease, together with our other Parkinson's nurse. The care also includes paramedical resources.
The work involves:
- Supporting the patient in their daily life situation and guiding them towards good self-care, as well as directing them to the right help and support if needed.
- Helping the patient gain insight into their situation to improve their quality of life.
- Working with a neurologist on medical treatments. More advanced treatments include pump treatments, which are initiated with the help of the nurse.
The majority of our patients are elderly, but we also have younger patients in the middle of their lives. We prefer candidates who are interested in and have experience caring for elderly patients. Experience in geriatric care is a plus.
As a nurse with us, your working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, and your main tasks include:
- Telephone advice, phone visits
- Own reception with patient visits, treatments, and a focus on motivational conversations, lifestyle habits, etc., quality registers
- Phone follow-ups
- Day care
- Administrative tasks such as waiting lists, bookings, record-keeping, monitoring, etc.
- Rehabilitation issues
About the Workplace
We are a large reception with patients from the entire region, within the field of adult neurology.
We provide daily telephone advice and run our own clinics. We work together in diagnostic groups to advance the operations. Teamwork and cohesion are central to our work, and our team includes doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries. We also collaborate with a paramedical team.
In our own reception, the work includes starting and following up treatments together with a neurologist and a colleague. Some technical aspects are included. We independently plan our receptions and manage our own waiting lists. Day care activities, where we primarily perform infusions and injections.
Currently, we have nursing clinics for Epilepsy, Headache/Migraine, MS, Stroke, and Parkinson.

Qualifications
Licensed nurse.
You can work independently and in a team, you are a positive and cheerful team player who contributes to the group and the overall picture. Experience in neurology and independent reception work is advantageous. We place great importance on personal suitability.
You need to have good computer skills. Knowledge of the Cosmic journal system is advantageous. You can plan and structure your workday and reception, you are proactive and responsible, and efficient. An interest in development and quality work is crucial as the operations are constantly evolving and changing.
Personal qualities and skills are important to us. We are looking for someone who is stable and secure in their professional role and drives their work forward.
The work at the reception is varied and not always predictable, which is why flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances are essential.
