Your tasks

As an occupational therapist at the Rehabilitation Unit SÄBO, you will work closely with the patient, their relatives, and the care staff at our special accommodations. Your mission is to support and enable activity and participation in everyday life based on each individual's conditions.

In your work, you will assess activity ability, mobility, and ensure that the right aids are prescribed and adapted to the patient's needs. You will guide and educate care staff to create a safe and rehabilitative working method.

Together with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, you will find solutions that create wholeness and continuity in care – focusing on making everyday life easier and contributing to preserving and strengthening the elderly's functions, health, and well-being.

Your qualifications

You are a licensed occupational therapist with an interest and preferably experience in elderly care or special accommodations (SÄBO). Experience with cognitive diseases, transfer techniques, and prescribing aids is an advantage, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome – we offer introduction and support in your new role.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and can present a certificate from the criminal record. A driver's license (B) is required.

As a person, you are mature, stable, cooperative, attentive, and communicative, and you work professionally with colleagues, residents, and relatives.

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.
