We are currently seeking a social welfare officer in elderly care for an assignment in a municipality in Dalarna. You will work with authority exercise according to applicable legislation and become part of an authority function where collaboration and legally secure processing are central.

👉 Your assignment

• Handle and investigate cases according to SoL within elderly care and work with cases within LSS and social psychiatry
• Make decisions and follow up on interventions according to applicable legislation
• Work legally secure with digital documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues, partners, and relevant parties
• Contribute structure, independence, and quality to the authority work

Must-have requirements

• Have a degree in social work or equivalent relevant academic education assessed as equivalent
• Have documented experience of authority exercise within SoL (elderly care), LSS, and social psychiatry
• Have a very good ability to investigate, decide, and follow up on interventions
• Have experience working in the operational system Treserva (must be stated in CV)
• Have a valid B driver's license
• Have good knowledge of the Office package
• Can communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Can work independently, structured, and legally secure
• Can handle a high work pace and maintain goal focus
• Can present a criminal record extract without negative results

Meritorious

• Previous experience of working in a municipal authority function
• Experience of collaboration with multiple actors in the public sector

📍 Scope

1 consultant at 100% weekdays. The work takes place on-site 4–5 days a week in a municipality in Dalarna.

📅 Assignment period

As soon as possible – 2026-04-30, with the right to extend for up to 6 months from the client's side.
